Our Secrets…

What are the secrets of these achievements? What are the salient points that brought about these outstanding successes? Here are some of them…

Tedious but distinctive teacher selection process. Nigerian Turkish International College teachers are carefully selected from a whole lot of outstanding candidates that apply each year.

Teacher’s educational developments are monitored and enhanced. The management ensures that teachers update their knowledge of their subjects by ensuring that internet facilities are available for use at all times. Also, teacher’s knowledge of the subject is tested every term by organizing teacher’s examination.

Exceptional students that cannot afford to pay for their fees are also placed on full scholarship. In fact, few months ago NTIC in conjunction with the Ministry of education, conducted scholarship interviews for pupils from public schools as part of our co-operate responsibilities. Statistically, NTIC presently has over three hundred students on scholarship.

Student – teacher relationship is cordial and firm. Students are allowed to respectfully air their views and as such accept corrections without struggles.

The principal’s and other management offices are not out of bound for students. They are free during break periods and after school to see any of their teachers or any member of the management staff.

Olympiad students are camped in school periodically (including holidays) to prepare for their competitions.

Students are taught to know and believe that success comes when opportunity meets with adequate preparation.

A very strong bond between the parents and the school. Parents are visited in their homes by assigned staffers to relate with parents and be able to know the best way to aid student’s development.

Very cordial relationship among the staffers. No segregation among the various staff nationals.

NTIC trains her students not only to achieve academic excellence but also to have good morals. Teachers arrange extra-curricular activities such as reading, sporting activities, watching beneficial movies, field trips…etc to bring up the students as quality human beings and citizens.

Above all of these is moral & character development as well as high level discipline which is never compromised in their slightest form.

NTIC, the right environment for learning is definitely the pride of Nigerian education.
