KANO NTIC GIRLS COLLEGE VISIT TO THE EMIR OF KANO
  |
In our pursuit to offer our students high quality education, serious attention is always paid to extra-curricular activities to aid the normal class learning process in our schools.
Our Girls’ College in Kano in exhibiting such attributes as mentioned earlier paid a visit on December 11,2009 to His Highness, the Emir of Kano, Alhaji (Dr) Ado Bayero to add to their knowledge in Hausa language which is one of the subjects being offered in the school. |
The students who are currently in SS3 were led on the visit by the principal Mr. Barbaros Batir, the Vice principal Mallam Auwalu Isa and the Hausa Teacher Mallam Imam Yusuf including Mrs. Sevgi Kertim and Mrs. Rashidat Raji.
It was quite intuitive as the students were able to appreciate in practical terms the cultural values of the Hausa people, their tradition, believes, dressing, administration and architecture.
The principal in his address thanked the Emir for the warmth reception and the opportunity accorded the school.
In response, the Emir Alhaji (Dr) Ado Bayero thanked the management and teachers of NTIC for their untiring effort in both academic and moral education of our future leaders. He emphasized the need for female education as the bedrock for any society to advance.
He called on the students to pay more attention to their studies and be of good behavior anywhere they find themselves.
